Easy Salad Dressing

If you're like me and you find plain raw salad a little sad and boring, this recipe is for you.

Here's my go to salad dressing to bring my salad to the next level :) Make it at home because it's cheaper and you know exactly what it's in it (no nasties!).

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil

  • 3 tb of vinegar: White, Apple Cider or Balsamic - or replace vinegar with the juice of 1 lemon

  • 1 tbsp of mustard seeds

  • 1 tbsp of honey or maple syrup

  • 1/4 tsp of sea salt

  • 4 tsp of pepper

Optional:

  • 2 garlic cloves minced, or thinly sliced

  • 1 tb of sesame oil for a nutty taste

  • Herbs of your choice: thyme or shallots

Method:

  1. Combine all ingredients into a jar and mix it well.

  2. Store in the fridge. I usually keep it for up to 2-3 weeks.

  3. At meal time, shake the jar to mix the ingredients then add a few tablespoons of your dressing on top of your salad.

The optional ingredients above can help you make some slightvariations to the basic dressing.

As always I hope that your enjoy these little recipes. Leave me a comment to let me know if you'd like more ;)

Bon Appétit to you!
